Strategic Litigation of Race Discrimination in Europe: from Principles to Practice

Litigation Strategy has also been the focus of the project partners. Two meetings have taken place with lawyers from across Europe to develop ideas for bringing strategic test cases on the basis of the Racial Equality Directive and other relevant European and international law norms. A manual entitled Strategic Litigation of Race Discrimination in Europe: from Principles to Practice has been produced to provide lawyers and NGOs with basic information about the Race Directive and about the theory and practice of strategic litigation, with a view to encouraging the development of test cases invoking the principles of the directive across Europe.
