EMD Issue Paper 1: Monitoring and Influencing the Transposition of EU Immigration Law
In the framework of the European Migration Dialogue, MPG has published an Issue Paper on Monitoring and Influencing the Transposition of EU Immigration Law: the family reunion and long term residents Directives. The paper gives a general overview of transposition and infringement procedures and then addresses in detail the two adopted Directives, identifying articles whose transposition into national law will require intensive monitoring by civil society organisations.
