Strategic Litigation of Race Discrimination in Europe: from Principles to Practice
This manual has been produced in the framework of the joint project 'Implementing European Anti-discrimination Law', a three-year project looking at the implementation of the EC Race Directive and Protocol 12 to the European Convention on Human Rights.
The project comprises advocacy, legislative drafting and litigation components, and this manual is a product of the latter. It aims to provide lawyers and NGOs with basic information about the Race Directive and about the theory and practice of strategic litigation, with a view to encouraging the development of test cases invoking the principles of the directive across Europe
