Launch of MIPEX in Serbia

What is a Workable Immigrant Integration Policy and How Can It be Measured?

MPG Policy Analyst Thomas Huddleston will provide training at a seminar organised by the European institute of Public Administration on measuring immigrant policies.

MPG Director Jan Niessen will deliever a keynote speech at an seminar in Vilnius (Lithuania), organised by the Lithuanian Social Research Centre, the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania, the Embassy of Sweden and the Committee on Social Affairs and Labour of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.

MPG Policy Analyst Thomas Huddleston will present findings from data in Integration Evaluation Tool, which MPG has developed for the UNHCR. In particular, he will look at education and housing indicators in Bulgaria, Poland and Romania; and at family reunification indicators in Bulgaria, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.

General meeting of the SIRIUS network

The SIRIUS network will hold its general meeting in Zagreb from 15 to 17 April. The meeting will be organised by the Network of Education Policy Centers and the Forum for Freedom in Education. The meeting will be an opportunity to discuss internal management issues as well as to have roundtables on several migrant education topics, such as early school leaving.

Launch of the Paving the Way for Integration: Pathways to Citizenship in France and the United States report.

MPG Legal Policy Analyst Thien Uyen Do will deliver a lecture on The Europeanization of EU Anti-Discrimination Policies. Did it Reduce Ethnic Discrimination in the Member-states? in the framework of the Institute of European Studies' Sping Lecture Series, organised in association with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development.
