Business Opportunities

Supplier Diversity Europe is currently organising a Business Opportunities event for Monday 23rd June 2008. This will take place at corporate offices in Canary Wharf.

A small number (up to 30) of strong, diverse-owned small and medium enterprises will be invited to this event, to meet an equal number of relevant buyers, senior procurement staff and functional mangers from SDE members Credit Suisse, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley (all financial services), Weil Gotshal and Manges (legal services) and Bristol-Myers Squibb (pharmaceuticals).

At the event, SMEs and corporations will share experience and ideas and begin to build meaningful relationships prior to the commencement of relevant, formal procurement processes by corporate members.

The corporate members have identified a range of forthcoming procurement opportunities including in the following sectors:

• Law
• Marketing (a very wide scope - from corporate gifts and events through telemarketing/direct marketing, prospects lists/database marketing to innovative digital techniques)
• Human resources (temporary agency staff & permanent recruitment, training, diversity consulting etc)
• Business consulting
• Facilities management

SMEs are being invited to this event on the basis of how closely their business profiles match corporate opportunities. All profiles currently registered within the Supplier Diversity Europe Database are being reviewed for matches, and new profiles reviewed as they are submitted.
