Conference of European Statisticians
MIPEX Speaking to Europe's statisticians on measuring integration success, MPG presents the Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX) and a 'joined-up' approach to the Conference of European Statisticians The Federal Statistical Office of Germany and Eurostat are organising a seminar on "measuring population movement and integration in a globalised world" in the context of the 56th plenary session of the Conference of European Statisticians. MPG will speak at the final session, "emerging statistical needs" alongside Eurostat, the World Bank, and the UN Economic Commission for Europe. In its seminar paper "Do integration policies matter? The MIPEX study and a joined-up approach to measuring success," Thomas Huddleston outlines how stakeholders can establish the causal links between policies, implementation, outcomes, and the other factors at play in integration processes by developing other statistical and analytical tools that build on the MIPEX policy indicators.
