Follow-up conference to the Norwegian Action Plan on Racism and Discrimination 2002-2006
Description
The conference, which is organised by the Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion, will act as a follow up to the Norwegian Action Plan on Racism and Discrimination (2002 – 2006) and will mark the launch of a new action plan. The aim of the conference is to put Norway and Norwegian policies in the discrimination field into a broader global context.
In this perspective, MPG Deputy Director Isabelle Chopin will speak on the European context of anti-discrimination policies and on how Norwegian policies relate to it, together with Timo Makkonen, an MPG legal expert who is also a member of the European Network of independent legal experts in the non-discrimination field.
