The Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe and the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament have organised a conference on Transatlantic Minority Political Leadership to take place from 1-2 June in Brussels

MPG Director, Jan Niessen, has been invited to deliver a presentation at the event, speaking on the panel entitled: 'The EU - Race Directive - 10 years and beyond' focusing on the history and adoption of the Directive and an assessment of its use.

About the event

The conference will review the impact of the EU Race Directive on the tenth anniversary of its adoption and will focus on strategies and tools for implementing the Brussels Declaration adopted at the close of the 2009 Black European Summit (BES).
