The Index: new member for Advisory Committee

The 2006 Migrant Integration Policy Index, co-managed by MPG, is proud to welcome Dr. Rainer Bauböck as a member of its Scientific Advisory Committee. 

Dr. Rainer Bauböck serves as Chair in social and political theory at EUI, Vice-President of the Commission for Migration and Integration Research and senior researcher at the Institute for European Integration Research at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. He has been instrumental in the development of the Index's nationality strand, due to expertise from coordinating NATAC, a considerable cross-national research project on the rules and practices regulating the acquisition and loss of nationality in the EU-15. 

Dr. Bauböck joins the Committee's other members, Dr. Joaquín Arango, Dr. Elspeth Guild, Dr. Virginie Guiraudon, Dr. George Kolankiewicz and Dr. Marco Martiniello.
