Supplier Diversity Europe briefing Business in the Community

Summary

On 25th April Colin Hann for SDE (the Supplier Diversity Europe MPG initiative) presented a briefing programme for Business in the Community (BITC) account holders in the UK. BITC are an influential business lead charity (one of Prince Charles’s charities) focused on promoting responsible business practice and corporate social responsibility programmes. It has a membership of 850 companies and a further 10,700 companies engaged in BITC campaigns nationally.

Description

The event was held at the Ministry of Justice in London and was aimed at introducing BITC staff to the concept of supplier diversity and how to sell and promote it to their members. SDE recieved very positive feedback to the session now plan to work through BITC directly with some of their members in order to encourage them to develop, with our assistance, supplier diversity programmes.
