MPG is looking to hire a Communications and Community Coordinator to help the organisation to share its expertise, reach out and directly support current and potential partners at national and EU level. This position will provide core communications capacity for MPG, in particular for joint communications activities for NGO coalitions on asylum and migration.
This position will involve 50% work for Migration Policy Group on the implementation of its new Communications Strategy. The other 50% will be dedicated to communications coordination for European-wide NGO joint campaigns, primarily the “We are a Welcoming Europe” campaign. These joint campaigns will be undertaken with broad coalitions of European and national NGOs, especially the EU NGO Platform on Asylum and Migration (EPAM).

#WelcomingEurope campaign internships
Throughout 2017, MPG has been coordinating the preparation of a European-wide campaign on migration and asylum. The #WelcomingEurope campaign calls on the European Commission to provide means and rules for citizens who stand up for a more tolerant Europe towards migrants & refugees.
The campaign is backed by a large coalition of European organisations and will be officially launched on 15 February 2018.
MPG is offering both half and full-time communication and campaigning internships starting in February 2018 for 3 to 6 months. Applicants must be currently enrolled in University and required to complete an internship for the purpose of their studies.
