Thomas Huddleston will comment on reform trends on naturalisation policies across Europe and the Americas. Organised by the EUDO Observatory on Citizenship, which has recently expanded its geographical scope to North and South America, this year’s EUDO conference will compare access to citizenship and the franchise in Europe and the Americas. The conference will offer an opportunity to discuss regional and global processes of norm diffusion taking into account the role of domestic, transnational and international factors in citizenship and electoral reforms. The Conference will bring together high-level academics and experts in order to stimulate interdisciplinary and intercontinental dialogue, to foster the exchange of research ideas and good practices with regard to citizenship and the franchise in Europe and the Americas.
