Current Immigration Debates in Europe

On the 26th September 2005 the European Migration Dialogue launched its new publication ‘Current Immigration Debates in Europe’.

Updating a series of reports from 2003, this volume covers current immigration, integration and brain-drain debates as well as an overview of the policy-making process.

It includes an introduction by MPG and 16 country reports written by experts associated with the European Migration Dialogue (EMD).

The EMD is a partnership of key civil society organisations dedicated to linking the national and European debates on immigration and integration. MPG is the co-ordinating partner. The EMD was supported by the European Commission, Directorate-General Justice, Freedom and Security, under the INTI funding programme from April 2004 to September 2005.
