The European Anti-Discrimination Law Review provides updated news, analysis and information on the implementation of anti-discrimination law in all Member states

This is the double sixth-seventh edition of the bi-annual European Anti-discrimination Law Review.

The new double issue of the European Anti-discrimination Law Review is published and was available at the “Legal Seminar on the implementation of EU Law on equal opportunities and anti-discrimination” in Brussels (25 November 2008), where the latest developments in the anti-discrimination field across all grounds were presented, with the participation of EU officials, legal experts, equality bodies and NGOs.

The latest Law Review, covering the period between 15 January 2007 and 17 July 2008, includes articles on age discrimination and mandatory retirement; the Canadian perspective of anti-discrimination law; the liability of legal persons and on the positive duties in the equality field; as well as, among other items, an update of the case-law of the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights; and news from the Member States.

The European Anti-discrimination Law Review is a bi-annual publication prepared by the European Network of Legal Experts in the non-discrimination field, established and managed by MPG and Human European Consultancy at the request of the European Commission.
