Guarding standards – Shaping the agenda

This paper systematically sets out policy recommendations in relation to the provisions on immigration and asylum in the Amsterdam Treaty.

It calls for a comprehensive approach and provides a cross-analysis of policies: it considers migration policies from a refugee protection angle, and asylum policies from a migration, integration and anti-discrimination angle.
