Summary

The Migration Policy Group is organising a round-table discussion on ‘Migrant Voices: Mainstreaming Diversity in Political Parties’ hosted by the European Parliament’s Anti Racism and Diversity Intergroup

Description

The round-table event will discuss MPG’s toolkit to help political parties in Europemainstream diversity practices into party processes across the political spectrum.

The toolkit is the result of a pilot project undertaken by the Migration Policy Group and funded by the European Programme on Integration and Migration (EPIM) to assess the extent to which migrants’ voices are successfully heard at all levels of interaction with political parties (as political candidates, constituents, voters, activists, employees, and providers of goods and services).

The round table event will be hosted by the European Parliament’s Anti Racism and Diversity Intergroup and will welcome a wide range of national and EU stakeholders to ensure a well informed and lively discussion.
