Situation testing training in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Veles, 3-5 July 2013

Situation testing is a method aiming at demonstrating where discrimination takes place and how. It can be used as a proof of discrimination in court cases in some of the member states, it is allowed by law in few of them. It has been used by civil society organisations, research institutes either as a mean of evidence or as a tool to identify inequalities and find better solutions to remedy them. In order to be accepted and taken into account it has to follow a very strict methodology.

In collaboration with the OSCE mission in Skopje, MPG’s Deputy Director Isabelle Chopin and Associate Legal Policy Analyst Lilla Farkas will provide a training on situation testing to Macedonian civil society organisations in Veles on 3-5 July 2013. This training will aim at providing local organisations with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to enable them performing situation testing on the national level.
