Aim of the project
The INNOVATE project aims to significantly improve and diversify how migration researchers engage with policymakers and policy stakeholders. It does so through a series of actions that develop and test innovations. These actions are grounded in the needs and interests of researchers, policymakers and migrants.
MPG's role and tasks
MPG’s role is two-fold:
- MPG will lead a Process Innovation Action on ‘Integration and long-term inclusion through migrant self-employment’. Multi-stakeholder round table processes to review policies based on research evidence will be held in two European cities. These will feed into action planning informed by research evidence and the implementation of pilot actions.
- MPG will compile a Policy Dialoguing Toolkit for all stakeholders interested in how to better feed research results into policymaking.
Who is it for?
MPG’s actions on migrant entrepreneurship will benefit local policymakers, entrepreneurs and various support services. The Policy Dialoging Toolkit will help all stakeholders interested in how to better feed research results into policymaking.
