Director

MPG’s Director since 2016, Isabelle is responsible of the organisation’s overall strategy and execution. Isabelle joined MPG at its inception in 1995 and has been working in the organisation throughout the last few decades. She was the Director of the Starting Line Group campaign that led to the adoption in 2000 of the two European anti-discrimination directives (Council Directive 2000/43/EC of 29 June 2000 implementing the principle of equal treatment between persons irrespective of racial or ethnic origin and Council Directive 2000/78/EC of 27 November 2000 establishing a general framework for equal treatment in employment and occupation). She has led many trainings and projects in the fields of non-discrimination, citizenship, hate speech, data collection, integration.

Isabelle is a French lawyer specialised in anti-discrimination law and is also the Specialist Coordinator in non-discrimination law of the European network of legal experts in gender equality and non-discrimination. She graduated from Paris V and the Vrije Universiteit Brussels.
