{"id":8452,"date":"2022-04-05T15:00:26","date_gmt":"2022-04-05T15:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.migpolgroup.com\/?p=8452"},"modified":"2022-04-25T08:48:39","modified_gmt":"2022-04-25T08:48:39","slug":"are-you-mpgs-next-communications-volunteer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.migpolgroup.com\/index.php\/2022\/04\/05\/are-you-mpgs-next-communications-volunteer\/","title":{"rendered":"Are you MPG&#8217;s next Communications Volunteer?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For our external communication actions, MPG is looking for an engaged, social media savvy intern that will support our Head of Communications with communication activities based on our Communication Strategy.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>If you are looking to gain experience with a well-established and recognised organisation in the field of anti-discrimination, migration and integration, this volunteer opportunity is for you!<\/p>\n<p>Find more details of the role description, and how to apply, below.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: Ubuntu;\">Your main responsibilities:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creating three short (5-10 minutes) videos for one of our projects;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist with the promotion and dissemination of external communication items and updates;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contribute to MPG\u2019s social media presence;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creation of the monthly newsletter in Mailchimp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ongoing updates and improvements to MPG\u2019s social media presence;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monitor and analyse media conversations around related issues via Meltwater;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contribute to visual communication, including multi-media creation and editing (in particular with Canva);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create and update content for our website;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proofread and format research papers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: Ubuntu;\">Your qualifications:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience creating and editing videos;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You have completed or are working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field: communication, multimedia design or you are self-taught and have some experience in communication, multimedia design or social media;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You are proactive, work independently as well as part of a team.
