[vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]The European network of legal experts in gender equality and non-discrimination (European Equality Law Network, <\/span>EELN<\/span><\/a>) has published a new thematic report \u2018Effectively enforcing the right to non-discrimination’ on their <\/span>website<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This report has been coordinated by Isabelle Chopin, MPG Director, and Catharina Germaine, MPG Anti-discrimination legal and policy analyst. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

MPG has historically played an important role advocating for improvements to non-discrimination law in the EU and coordinating anti-discrimination networks and is proud to continue playing a key role in the Network.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Encouraging and promising practices to protect against discrimination<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The purpose of the report, written by Romanita Iordache and Iustina Ionescu, is to highlight encouraging and promising practices to protect against discrimination and ensure an effective implementation of the Equality Directives.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The publication examines specific and innovative solutions to effectively enforce equality law throughout the 27 Member States and the three EFTA countries, including promising practices developed in relation to providing remedies against discrimination.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The report is thus a welcome source for inspiration for legislators and policy makers at national as well as European level.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
