inconsistent implementation and assessment of those that exist.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu;\">In concluding, Ms. Chopin stated that, while the legal protection against discrimination has enhanced immensely, there remain a number of gaps (outlined above) which could be addressed with the adoption of the long-standing \u2018horizontal directive\u2019, accompanying measures and further legislation notably regarding equality bodies to be presented by the Commission in September 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span
