You should be a strategic communicator with an appetite to learn new tactics and the ability to work on your own and independently manage multiple projects at once.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate MPG\u2019s strategic priorities, positions and messages targeting different audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate joint communication actions between civil society and new allies.<\/li>\n<li>Promote strategic and simplified research to EU policymakers, civil society and our online community.<\/li>\n<li>Raise the visibility of MPG\u2019s work to targeted stakeholders, including the media.<\/li>\n<li>Be the communications and dissemination focal point for selected projects.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively expand upon MPG\u2019s communications infrastructure to further systematise the process of transposing macro-level communications strategy into micro-level day-to-day actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Key responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively coordinate the timely submission of news items by staff members and the process of externally disseminating these items in line with MPG\u2019s macro-level communications strategy, messaging and Visual Identity Manual.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and produce content for MPG\u2019s digital channels, including social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and the website.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and enhance MPG\u2019s Google Ads via the Google Ads Grant of up to $10,000 \/ month of free ads.<\/li>\n<li>Where appropriate, create ads on social media channels, such as Twitter, to increase the uptake of key MPG deliverables among target audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Advise and support MPG\u2019s team on the communication aspects of our projects<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement communications strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate stakeholder\u2019s networksMonitor and maintainMPG\u2019s website.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the production of MPG\u2019s monthly email newsletter.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the development of visual content (eg. videos, infographics, visuals for digital channels) for selected projects.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the media outreach, including through the dissemination of press releases and the management of media enquiries.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and report on digital communications analytics and impact.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to the sustainability of MPG through project development and fundraising.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and supervise the work of communication volunteers.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and develop MPG\u2019s contact list in Active Campaign.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that MPG remains in compliance with all GDPR legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Person specification<\/strong><\/h3>\n<table width=\"100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 18%; vertical-align: top;\" width=\"18%\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Professional skills, knowledge and experience<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"81%\"><em>Essential<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher education degree in Marketing\/Communications\/PR or a relevant degree<\/li>\n<li>3-4 years of communications experience in a similar position<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on creativity, copy-writing\/editing<\/li>\n<li>Native level fluency in written and oral English<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in social media channels and digital communications tools (eg.
