The project, entitled \u2018<\/span>Tackling structural and institutional racism in 8 EU Member States<\/span><\/a>\u2019, is the latest addition to MPG\u2019s portfolio of research in the area of anti-discrimination.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Overview of the project<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

To address the new policy priorities on the EU and national agendas to tackle structural racism, the proposed project will adopt an inductive and bottom-up approach that promotes better cooperation and synergies between <\/span>researchers and stakeholders, in order to inform EU and national anti-discrimination policymaking.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The project will result in\u00a0policy recommendations to better and effectively achieve the goals of the EU policy agenda to fight structural and institutional racism.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What are MPG\u2019s reasons for undertaking this project?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

This project is linked to <\/span>MPG\u2019s unique position in mainstreaming EU and national\u2019s dialogue channels between minority communities, researchers and institutions (see for instance the work done in the <\/span>ReSOMA project<\/span><\/a>). In addition, <\/span>MPG has more than 20 years of experience in managing and contributing to multinational projects and research, notably on anti-discrimination and racism (see <\/span>https:\/\/www.equalitylaw.eu\/<\/span><\/a>, European network of legal experts in gender equality and non-discrimination).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
