As migration continues to reshape Europe’s social and political landscape, integration is no longer a side issue – it is a defining choice for the future of equality, social cohesion, and democratic trust. At a time when public debate is increasingly polarised, this conference will explore evidence-based solutions that strengthen inclusive societies and empower migrants to fully participate socially, economically, and politically.
For over 20 years, the Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX) has been a trusted global benchmark for assessing the quality of integration policies. In 2025, MIPEX presents updated results for all 27 EU Member States, providing the most comprehensive and current comparative picture yet of national integration frameworks across the Union. The findings cover eight key areas:
- Labour market mobility
- Family reunification
- Education
- Political participation
- Permanent residence
- Access to nationality
- Anti-discrimination
- Health
