The is a unique tool which measures integration policies in 56 countries across 8 policy areas. It provides up-to-date, comprehensive research data and analysis on which to base policies, proposals for change and projects.
Besides data on national integration policies, MPG now also gather data on policies at the regional – Regin (MIPEX-R) – and local levels – Whole-COMM (MIPEX-L).
A matrix of educational policies to support migrant students across Europe

This study examines how language integration policies affect the successful integration of adult immigrants across European Union member states. The authors utilise the Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX) as a key analytical tool to assess and compare national integration strategies. The article “Análisis comparativo de la gestión de la integración de los inmigrantes latinoamericanos en Japón y España” by Nadia Rodríguez Sánchez compares how Japan and Spain manage the integration of Latin American immigrants. The study highlights the contrasts between both countries’ approaches to immigrant inclusion.
