MPG presents MIPEX 2025 findings to Members of the European Parliament
MPG continues to support evidence-based policymaking through strong partnerships and the sharing of practical insights on migrant integration across Europe.
On 4 February 2026, MPG presented the MIPEX 2025 results during a closed meeting with Members of the European Parliament from the Renew Europe group. The meeting was supported by the Brussels office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
MPG researchers Başak Yavçan, Alexander Wolffhardt, and Chiara Agrillo presented key findings on migrants’ access to the labour market and education. They also highlighted how increasingly restrictive citizenship policies risk weakening these essential dimensions of integration.
Participating MEPs reaffirmed their commitment to integration as a viable, socially cohesive, and economically constructive policy choice. They welcomed MIPEX as a valuable tool for informed, evidence-based decision-making at EU level.
